API3
An oracle protocol where data providers run "Airnode" first-party oracles directly — no third-party node operators between the API and the chain.
API3 takes a different shape from Chainlink: instead of a network of third-party node operators that fetch and aggregate data, each data provider runs its own "Airnode" that publishes signed data directly. The on-chain consumer trusts the provider, not a middleware network.
The model gives transparency about who is signing each datum and sharply reduces aggregation cost. API3 also runs OEV Network, an auction layer that captures the order-flow value generated by oracle updates.
