Arbitrum Orbit
Arbitrum's framework for launching L2s and L3s on top of Arbitrum — Nitro-based chains that settle to Ethereum or to an Arbitrum chain, with custom gas tokens and policies.
Arbitrum Orbit lets developers deploy their own chain using Arbitrum's Nitro stack. Orbit chains can settle to Ethereum (making them L2s) or to Arbitrum One / Arbitrum Nova (making them L3s). Operators choose the gas token, fee splits, governance, and data-availability layer.
ApeChain, Xai (gaming), Cometh, and many other application- specific chains run on Orbit. The framework is the Arbitrum ecosystem's main rollup-stack offering and a direct competitor to the OP Stack and Polygon CDK.
