Backpack
A multi-chain wallet and exchange by Coral — combines a self-custodial wallet with the Backpack Exchange, plus xNFT support for embedded dApps.
Backpack launched in 2022 from the Coral team (after the FTX collapse). The wallet supports Ethereum, Solana, and Bitcoin with a unified UI, and pioneered "xNFTs" — NFTs that are themselves embedded dApps the wallet can render.
The Backpack Exchange, launched in 2024, is a centralized trading venue paired with the wallet. The vertical integration of self-custody wallet + integrated CEX is one of the more distinctive product positions in the wallet category.
