BounceBit
A Bitcoin-restaking Layer-1 — users deposit BTC (or wrapped BTC), receive BBTC, and earn yield from CeDeFi strategies plus shared-security AVS participation.
BounceBit is a Layer-1 chain with a CeDeFi-style restaking model. Users deposit BTC (or LBTC/cbBTC/wbBTC) which is held by regulated custodians and yield-generating CeFi strategies, while the BBTC token representation is restaked on-chain to secure network services.
The chain offers dual-token PoS (BB and BBTC), CeDeFi yield products, and an EVM-compatible smart-contract layer. It is one of several attempts to bring meaningful BTC yield on-chain through a mixed centralized/decentralized stack.
