Chronicle
An oracle network — originally MakerDAO's in-house oracles — using Schnorr-aggregated signatures and on-chain proofs of each feed's signer set.
Chronicle spun out of MakerDAO in 2023, building on the in-house oracle stack Maker had used since 2017. Each price feed is signed off-chain by a curated set of "Feed Lifters"; signatures are aggregated via Schnorr into a single compact proof posted on-chain.
Chronicle's strength is transparency and gas efficiency on EVM-compatible chains. Its feeds power Maker / Sky, Spark, and several other large protocols, plus an increasing third-party customer base.
