Delegation
Assigning your voting power to another address — common in DAO governance, where most holders delegate to active community members or to themselves.
Most DAOs let token holders delegate voting power to another address that will cast votes on their behalf. The delegate is not custody — funds stay with the holder — but the delegate votes with the holder's weight on every proposal.
Delegation solves the participation problem: most holders won't vote on every proposal, but they will pick a delegate whose voting record they like. It also concentrates power in a small number of visible delegate accounts, which is its own governance trade-off.
