Goldfinch

A DeFi credit protocol that funds off-chain (often emerging-market) borrowers with USDC liquidity — on-chain capital meets traditional underwriting.

Goldfinch lets borrowers — typically credit funds and fintechs extending loans in emerging markets — raise USDC liquidity on chain against off-chain credit underwriting. Backers and senior pool depositors provide the capital, with Auditors verifying borrower legitimacy.

The protocol is a leading example of on-chain capital flowing into real-world credit without requiring borrowers to be crypto-native. GFI is the governance token; Senior Pool returns target stable fixed-income yields rather than DeFi-native variable APRs.
