Hop Protocol
A liquidity-network bridge between Ethereum and its rollups, using LP-fronted instant transfers and a backstop on each rollup's native bridge.
Hop targets fast L2-to-L2 (and L2-to-L1) transfers without waiting for the optimistic challenge windows that the native rollup bridges impose. Users send the asset to a "Hop Bridge" contract on the source chain; Hop's bonders front the equivalent amount on the destination chain within seconds.
Bonders later reclaim their advance by withdrawing through the native bridge, accepting the latency in exchange for the fee. The design is one of the cleanest implementations of the "liquidity bridge" pattern.
