IoTeX
An EVM-compatible Layer-1 focused on DePIN — provides hardware identity, off-chain data oracles, and toolchain for connected-device protocols.
IoTeX launched in 2019 as an EVM-compatible Layer-1 specifically targeting Internet-of-Things and DePIN use cases. It ships W3bstream — a decentralized off-chain compute layer that ingests device data, verifies it, and submits attestations on-chain — plus secure-element hardware reference designs (Ucam, Pebble) for trustworthy device identity.
DePIN projects building on IoTeX include Drop Wireless (CBRS), NFTrade (mapping), and several environmental-sensor networks. IOTX is the network token.
