Monad
An EVM-compatible Layer-1 in development targeting 10,000+ TPS through parallel execution, delayed execution, and a re-engineered consensus pipeline.
Monad is a Layer-1 being built by Monad Labs that targets EVM parity with order-of-magnitude higher throughput. Its core techniques are optimistic parallel execution across the EVM, deferred execution (separating consensus on the transaction list from state computation), and MonadBFT consensus.
As of mainnet launch the chain promises to run unmodified Solidity contracts with the standard JSON-RPC interface, while pushing throughput well beyond Ethereum mainnet or current L2s.
