Crypto slang for a token's price rising dramatically — "to the moon" is the canonical bullish exclamation, often abbreviated as a rocket emoji.
"Moon" — as in "to the moon" — describes a token going up dramatically. The image is a price chart shooting vertically off the top. The phrase has been part of crypto vocabulary since Dogecoin's earliest days and is the universal short-hand for extreme bullish sentiment.
Variants include "mooning" (currently rising), "moonshot" (a bet with extreme upside), and "wen moon" (asking when the price will rise). The rocket emoji 🚀 typically accompanies any of these in crypto Twitter posts.
