Neutron
A Cosmos appchain secured by the Cosmos Hub via Replicated Security — focused on hosting CosmWasm-based DeFi and cross-chain primitives.
Neutron launched in 2023 as one of the first Cosmos consumer chains under Replicated Security: instead of bootstrapping its own validator set and stake, it shares the Cosmos Hub's validators and ATOM stake, paying the Hub a portion of fees in return.
The chain is CosmWasm-only (no EVM) and positions itself as the Cosmos ecosystem's DeFi hub: smart contracts, cross-chain modules, and a growing set of protocols like Astroport, Margined, and Drop.
