NGMI
Acronym for "Not Gonna Make It" — used to label decisions, projects, or behaviors that the speaker believes are doomed or self-defeating.
"NGMI" — Not Gonna Make It — is the dismissive counterpart to WAGMI (We're All Gonna Make It). It tags decisions, takes, projects, or trades that the speaker thinks are dumb, doomed, or self-defeating: selling at the bottom, ignoring an obvious opportunity, failing to verify a contract before signing.
The term is used both as critique and as light teasing in crypto communities. Like WAGMI, its tone depends heavily on context — it can be cutting or affectionate depending on who is saying it and about what.
