A tap-to-earn Telegram mini-app on TON — users tapped a coin in-app to earn NOT tokens, reaching tens of millions of users in 2024 before token launch.
Notcoin launched in late 2023 as a Telegram mini-app where users literally tapped a coin to accumulate points. Daily and referral mechanics propelled the game to ~35 million users within months — one of the fastest-onboarded consumer crypto products in history.
The token (NOT) launched on TON in May 2024 with the accumulated points redeemable into tokens. Notcoin proved that Telegram's distribution could move enormous numbers of users into on-chain activity, kicking off a wave of similar Telegram tap-to-earn games.
