Obol Network
A DVT protocol offering Charon — a middleware that runs alongside an Ethereum consensus client and coordinates a 4-of-5 (or other) distributed signing committee.
Obol Network's Charon middleware sits between the consensus client and the validator client, intercepting signing requests and distributing them across a configured set of nodes. The result is a single logical validator whose key shares are spread across multiple operators.
Obol is one of the two major DVT implementations on Ethereum (alongside SSV Network). Lido, Ether.fi, and the Ethereum Foundation's solo-staker pilot all incorporate Obol clusters into production.
