OP Stack
Optimism's open-source rollup framework — the canonical stack for new EVM L2s including Base, World Chain, Soneium, and dozens of others in the Superchain.
The OP Stack is the modular software powering Optimism Mainnet — broken into execution engine, batcher, proposer, and challenger components — and offered as an open-source framework. Any team can spin up an OP Stack rollup, customize a small set of parameters, and inherit the engineering of the production Optimism network.
OP Stack chains can join the Optimism Superchain — a shared bridge, shared sequencing roadmap, and protocol revenue-sharing arrangement. Base, World Chain, Soneium, Mode, and many others are OP Stack chains.
