Osmosis
The largest DEX on the Cosmos ecosystem — an AMM purpose-built as its own appchain, with deep cross-chain IBC connectivity.
Osmosis launched in 2021 as an appchain-style DEX in the Cosmos ecosystem. Liquidity pools support a range of curve types (constant-product, stableswap, concentrated, supercharged), and the chain's IBC connections give it native cross-chain access to most Cosmos chains' assets.
OSMO is the gas, staking, and governance token. Osmosis is the de-facto Cosmos hub for DeFi activity outside the Cosmos Hub itself, and a major part of the broader IBC trading volume.
