PancakeSwap
The dominant DEX on BNB Chain and a top-five DEX globally — AMM swaps, perpetuals, prediction markets, and a CAKE-emissions yield platform.
PancakeSwap launched on BNB Chain in 2020 as a Uniswap-v2 fork and grew into BNB Chain's flagship DEX. It now supports v2 and v3 AMM pools, an order-book interface, perpetuals (via ApolloX), prediction markets, and the CAKE governance and emissions token.
The protocol has since multi-chain-expanded onto Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon zkEVM, Base, Linea, and several other chains. Outside of the Ethereum + L2 stack, PancakeSwap consistently ranks among the highest-volume DEXes on any chain.
