Penumbra
A privacy-focused Cosmos chain — every transaction is shielded by default, with a private order-book DEX, private staking, and IBC connectivity.
Penumbra is a Cosmos appchain built around shielded by default state. All balances, transfers, swaps, and stakes are encrypted on chain; only the owner sees the contents. Validators see and process commitments, not plaintext data.
The chain ships a privacy-preserving order-book DEX, privacy- preserving staking and delegations, and IBC connections for shielding inbound assets from other Cosmos chains. PEN is the governance and staking token.
