Phantom
The dominant Solana wallet — browser extension and mobile, with multi-chain support for Ethereum, Bitcoin, Sui, and others added over time.
Phantom launched in 2021 specifically for Solana and rapidly became the default Solana wallet, much as MetaMask did for Ethereum. The UX is built around fast, low-fee swaps via Jupiter and pump.fun integration, native staking, and NFT browsing.
The wallet has since added support for Ethereum, Bitcoin, Sui, and Base, repositioning itself as a multi-chain consumer wallet without losing its Solana-native feel. Phantom is also building its own perpetual-futures product on Hyperliquid.
