Rainbow
A design-driven Ethereum self-custody wallet — known for its UI polish, ENS-first interface, and consumer-friendly NFT support on mobile and browser.
Rainbow launched in 2019 as an Ethereum mobile wallet emphasizing visual polish and approachable UX. The wallet supports Ethereum, all major L2s (Optimism, Arbitrum, Base, Polygon, zkSync), and Bitcoin, with first-class ENS integration and a strong NFT browsing experience.
The Rainbow extension launched in 2023 to compete with MetaMask on browser, and the team also operates a Solana wallet. RNBW (the Rainbow token) launched in late 2024 with airdrops to historical Rainbow users.
