Rollup-as-a-Service (RaaS)
A platform that deploys and operates a custom rollup for you — sequencer, prover, bridges, and explorers included — turning months of L2 engineering into a few config choices.
Rollup-as-a-Service (RaaS) providers — such as Conduit, Caldera, Gelato, and AltLayer — let a team launch its own rollup without building the stack from scratch. They handle node infrastructure, the sequencer, proof generation or fraud-proof plumbing, canonical bridges, block explorers, and RPC endpoints.
The customer picks a framework (OP Stack, Arbitrum Orbit, ZK Stack, Polygon CDK), a data-availability layer, and a gas token, then deploys in hours instead of months. The trade-off is dependence on the provider for uptime and, often, a centralized sequencer — so RaaS chains are judged on how quickly they can decentralize.
