Ser

Crypto Twitter shorthand for "sir" — used affectionately or sarcastically when addressing someone, often paired with claims like "ser, you have to buy this".

"Ser" — a stylized spelling of "sir" — is a crypto Twitter staple, used both genuinely (as polite address) and ironically (as exasperated correction or pitch). Common phrases include "ser, you have to ___", "no ser", "respectfully ser", and "ser this is not financial advice".

The term tends to soften delivery — a sentence prefaced with "ser" reads more playful than confrontational. Like "wen" and "gm", recognizing the convention is a basic marker of crypto-culture fluency.
