SP1

Succinct's open-source RISC-V zkVM — generates ZK proofs of arbitrary Rust programs running on a RISC-V instruction set, used by rollups and ZK applications.

SP1 is Succinct Labs' zkVM. Developers write a program in Rust, compile it to RISC-V, and SP1 produces a SNARK proof that the execution was correct on given inputs. Proofs verify in milliseconds on-chain.

SP1 competes with RISC Zero's zkVM in the general-purpose-proving category and powers Succinct's prover network, which sells proving as a service to rollups, attestation systems, and bridges. The Succinct Network token launched in 2024 to coordinate the proving marketplace.
