Story Protocol
A Layer-1 designed for registering and licensing intellectual property on-chain — programmable IP, royalty splits, derivative-work tracking native to the chain.
Story Protocol is a purpose-built Layer-1 (EVM-compatible, with custom precompiles) focused on IP. Creators register works as IP Assets, attach licensing terms (commercial / non-commercial, royalty splits), and any downstream remix or derivative cleanly inherits the licensing graph.
The chain combines this with native programmable royalty splits, designed to make on-chain IP usable for AI training, derivative works, and remix culture. Story Protocol's IP token launched in early 2025.
