Tokenomics

The supply, distribution, and incentive design of a token: cap, emission schedule, allocations, vesting, unlocks, and sinks that absorb supply.

Tokenomics is the financial design of a token. The key questions: How many will ever exist? How fast are new ones minted? Who got them on day one, and on what unlock schedule? What burns or locks them out of circulation?

Strong fundamentals can be undone by tokenomics that flood the market with unlock pressure; weak ones can be propped up for a while by clever scarcity. Reading the unlock schedule and the holder distribution tells you more about a token's near-term price than any roadmap will.
