Wonderland (TIME)
An OlympusDAO-fork on Avalanche that reached ~$15B FDV in late 2021 — collapsed in early 2022 amid revelations that its treasury manager was a convicted criminal.
Wonderland launched on Avalanche in September 2021 as an OlympusDAO fork, with TIME as its native rebasing token offering APYs above 80,000% (paid in new TIME emissions). At peak in November 2021 the project's fully diluted valuation reached approximately $15 billion.
In late January 2022 it emerged that the project's pseudonymous treasury manager "0xSifu" was Michael Patryn — a co-founder of the collapsed QuadrigaCX exchange with prior fraud convictions. TIME collapsed by over 95% within weeks. The Wonderland episode became a reference case for governance and treasury-management transparency in DeFi.
